Getting Rid Of Face Scars

Acne can leave behind scars and visible marks that may be bringing down your confidence. This guide will provide you with easy steps on how to rid yourself of them. Lemon juice will also work.

  1.  Stop popping! Straining will cause stress, which will cause the biggest, reddest zit you can imagine! If you absolutely must pop, make sure that the area and your fingers are clean and disinfected. Best method of dealing with acne scars and cuts is just to let your body do the works. Keep the irritated area clean and use as little make-up on the area as possible.
  2. Use a Scar Treatment. For post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (brown or red marks on the skin) try something like Invisible Scars, Nucelle Mandelic Acid treatment for acne scars, Zenmed's Scar Treatment Kit, Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel. For "ice picks" or "crater-like" scars, which are actual dents in the skin, often the most effective treatment is seeing a doctor.
  3. 3
Moisturize and protect. Always use an oil-free moisturizer that has SPF. Try Body Guard Exquisitely Light SPF 30 For Face & Body.
  4. 4
Try Skin-Bleaching Lotions. there are many skin-bleaching lotions on the market. it sounds painful but it isn't. hydroquinone is a very powerful lotion and to get that it must be prescribed by your GP. however you can buy less powerful ones from pharmacies. you have to rub a small amount onto the affected area twice a day, it is supposed to be quite helpful but it may take a month or so to start to see improvement.
  5. 5
Triple Antibiotic ointment. If you put this on overnight, it will fade your scars and get rid of them. Don't put too much on in one spot, it can cause your skin to get overly oily.
  6. 6
You can also use Oxygenated Water, or as its chemical name calls it "Hydrogen Peroxide Solution". Please keep in mind that hydrogen peroxide tends to whiten the skin. You may see a small difference between your natural skin color and the color of the skin to which this is applied. Don't worry, the difference won't be there the next day. Also note that some people believe that hydrogen peroxide may lead to cancer when applied to skin because it is thought to create free radicals in the skin and kills off vital skin cells.
  7. 7
Use a Chemical Peel. For the more severe cases, a chemical peel should be an option. a chemical peel causes old and damaged layers of skin to peel off and reveal new and young skin. however the decision should not be reached lightly, this is a form of cosmetic surgery so they could always be risks.
  8. 8
Consider Collegen Fillers. Acne can cause dips or dents in your skin, formally known as "ice pick scars", if they really affect your confidence you can get collegens fillers in the affect part to fill up the dents making your skin flat and have a better complexion and make sure you don't forget to do everyday.
